This policy explains what data TournamentBracket stores and why.

No account needed

You do not need to create an account or sign in to use any of the tools on this site.

Where your data lives

By default, the brackets, round robins and scoreboards you create are stored only in your own browser (using IndexedDB), on your own device. We never see this data unless you choose to share it.

If you generate a viewer link to share a tournament with other people, that tournament's data is then also stored on our servers (Cloudflare) so the link can work for your viewers. Shared tournament data is automatically deleted 90 days after the last time anyone accesses it.

Analytics and consent

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how the site is used, in aggregate. GA4 is loaded with Google's Consent Mode: for visitors in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland, analytics storage defaults to denied until you make a choice in the cookie consent banner. Visitors elsewhere default to analytics storage granted. Your choice is remembered on this device and can be changed at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page, which reopens the consent banner so you can accept or reject analytics.
