How Padel Americano scoring works
Padel Americano is a rotating-partner format built around individual points, not just wins and losses: every round you get a new partner, and each match is played to a fixed number of total points shared between the two pairs (24 is the usual default, but you can set any total from 8 to 64). Your own point total across every round — not just your win/loss record — is what decides the final standings, which is what makes Americano a fair way to rank a group where partners change constantly.
This generator schedules every round across your available courts, automatically pairing players and avoiding repeat partnerships whenever the numbers allow it. When you enter a score for one side of a match, the other side's score fills in automatically to match your chosen point total — type "15" for one pair and the generator fills in "9" for the other if the match is played to 24 — so you only ever have to enter one number per match.
Standings update the moment you save a score, ranked by total points scored, then wins. Share a live link so players can check standings on their own phones between rounds, or switch to big screen mode to project the current round's court assignments and standings for everyone to see.

Padel Americano FAQ
What is Padel Americano?
Padel Americano is a social tournament format where partners rotate every round and players are ranked individually by total points scored, rather than by which fixed team they were on. It is designed for club nights and socials where you want everyone to play with (and against) different people.
How many players do I need for Americano?
This generator supports 4 to 48 players. Any count in that range works — players who are not on a court that round sit out and rotate evenly, so you do not need a number that divides evenly by 4.
How is Americano different from Mexicano?
Americano assigns partners and courts before each round regardless of how the previous round went. Mexicano instead re-pairs players after every round based on their current results (stronger players tend to face stronger players). This tool generates standard Americano schedules; it does not currently offer a results-based Mexicano pairing mode.
Can I run Americano with an odd number of players?
Yes. The generator accepts any player count from 4 to 48, including odd numbers — whoever is not on a court in a given round is listed as sitting out, and sit-out turns rotate evenly across the event.
